License Policy
How WP Job Portal licenses, subscriptions, activations, updates, support eligibility, staging sites, renewals, and legacy licenses work.
License Policy
This policy explains the license model for WP Job Portal products, add-ons, bundles, AI products, site counts, renewals, activations, staging sites, and support eligibility.
Last updated: June 9, 2026. This policy reflects the recommended WP Job Portal model of Single Site, 5 Sites, and 25 Sites licenses for new sales.
Overview
WP Job Portal products are licensed for use on WordPress websites. A license controls access to downloads, updates, support, and activation limits. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the software, brand, website content, or intellectual property.
Each license is connected to the account and purchase email used during checkout. Keep this email active because it may be used for downloads, renewal reminders, license keys, invoices, and support history.
License types
| License | Allowed activations | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Single Site | 1 production website | One job board, company hiring portal, or WordPress site. |
| 5 Sites | Up to 5 production websites | Multiple owned websites, client projects, or separate portals. |
| 25 Sites | Up to 25 production websites | Larger businesses, product implementers, or multiple WordPress installs. |
| Custom | By written agreement | More than 25 sites, special commercial use, or enterprise licensing. |
What counts as a site?
A “site” generally means one production WordPress installation, domain, subdomain, or separate WordPress environment where the product is actively used.
Examples that usually count as separate sites include:
- example.com
- jobs.example.com
- client-site.com
- A separate WordPress multisite subsite where the product is used as a separate portal
If you are unsure whether your setup counts as one site or multiple sites, contact support before purchase.
Development, staging, and local sites
Reasonable development, staging, and local testing environments may be allowed when they are clearly connected to a licensed production site. These environments are intended for testing updates, debugging, or preparing changes before deployment.
Staging allowance may be limited or revoked if it is used to bypass production activation limits, run public job boards, or provide separate live services.
Updates, downloads, and support
An active license/subscription may be required for:
- Product downloads from the customer account.
- Plugin and add-on updates.
- Security fixes and compatibility updates.
- Access to support for eligible products.
- License management and activation changes.
If a license expires, is cancelled, refunded, disputed, or payment fails, installed products may continue to exist on your site, but updates, downloads, support, and activation changes may no longer be available.
Renewals and subscription status
Licenses may renew annually unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal keeps access to updates, downloads, support, and continued license services for the next subscription period.
Renewal pricing, discounts, plan names, and license options may change over time. The checkout, renewal notice, or account area will show available renewal terms when applicable.
License transfers
License transfers may be reviewed by support. We may allow transfers between websites or owners when the request is reasonable, the license is active, and the product is not being resold, shared, or abused.
We may decline transfers that violate site-count limits, support abuse rules, redistribution restrictions, or security requirements.
License restrictions
You may not:
- Share license keys publicly or with unrelated third parties.
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or publish WP Job Portal products as standalone downloads.
- Use one license to power more sites than the purchased site count allows.
- Remove branding, notices, licensing checks, or protected code where prohibited.
- Use products to create a directly competing product, marketplace, or download service.
- Use refunded, cancelled, disputed, or deactivated licenses for ongoing production use.
AI-related products and add-ons
AI-related features may depend on supported AI providers, API availability, configuration, credits, keys, usage limits, third-party model behavior, or supported product versions. AI results may require review by the site owner and should not be treated as guaranteed, legal, hiring, or compliance advice.
AI add-ons may change as providers, APIs, models, costs, and WordPress/WooCommerce integrations change.
Refunded or cancelled licenses
After a refund, chargeback, cancellation for abuse, or payment dispute, the related license may be deactivated and access to downloads, updates, support, and product services may be removed.
Legacy licenses
If you purchased a license under older public terms, including any legacy site-count or unlimited license offer, the license will be handled according to the terms presented at the time of purchase, subject to anti-abuse, redistribution, and support-policy limits.
New purchases should follow the site-count options shown at checkout.
